Out time to market is much faster

EDC is the largest real estate chain in Denmark, employing 1,500 people in 237 offices. In 2006, the company's homemade CMS system for online property listings was too difficult to edit and full of limitations.

Faster than competition

EDC launched the new site, built on EPiServer CMS that is very easy to use and develop. Now when they want to make a new attribute for the website, our time to market is much faster than their competitors, which gives them a real advantage. One of the main goals is to turn website users from passive to active, so instead of just looking at a prospect, they interact with them. EDC want them to contact a local agent, order materials, or sign up for a showing. "This is why EPiServer CMS is so good for us, since it makes it so easy for us to create new ways to get in touch with users" says Allan Orup Hansen, Head of Marketing, EDC.

1.4 million visists each month

Currently the website has 1.4 million visits each month, based on 350,000 users. In the future EDC will upgrade to EPiServer CMS 6, develop personalization features, and make property listings more based on Google maps rather than postal codes. EPiServer CMS will enable us to develop these functions, which will make it easier for us to turn users into customers.
