The external website (www.sl.se), intranet, mobile site (mobil.sl.se) and extranet (mitt.sl.se) are all based on Episerver.
SL's external website, www.sl.se, includes integration with a travel planner, real-time information for buses (GPS positioning), extranet (Mitt SL) and a few other websites. There are a number of different target groups and there are separate landing pages for resellers, agents and schools/young people. Simple e-services are also available to visitors such as an SMS ticket, e-commerce and real-time information.
SL's extranet solution (Mitt SL), gives customers a unique experience. To use MySL visitors must register and login. For example, at MySL passengers can customize their information fo rlive travel news, diverted routes and a travel planner. MySL integrates with SL's CRM tool "Boomerang", for storing customers' unique data.
SL's website for mobile phones and mobile handsets offers services such as a travel planner, diversion information and live travel news for bus, rail and metro routes. The website is a customized mobile solution in Episerver CMS which identifies the type of handset and presents the information depending on the brand and type of the handheld device. Handheld devices need to be able to handle WAP 2.0 and XHTML-MP.
SL's intranet is based Episerver and integration with IBM's FileNet document management system, real-time information and a travel planner.
SL worked on this standardization and the further development of its Web platform on Episerver CMS in order to give visitors an optimal solution for information and services.
